I need some advice regarding decreased mobility.
I am 33F, approx. 155cm or 5'1 and weigh 120+kg or 265+lbs (breached scale weight limit) depending on your measurement systems. I know people take issue with BMI, but for those who use it, mine is 50+ and obese class 3.
I have been sendentary for over 10 years with very minimal movement and no deliberate exercise. I've fallen down (short) steps and on uneven ground a lot lately. My ankle pain/swelling flared up when I walked just 30mins two days ago and left me limping. I don't even want to go get the mail at the moment and it's only a few metres.
I do work two days a week, but I have three kids and I can barely get off the couch most days, which just isn't good enough.
I'm feeling really depressed that I've lost so much of my basic function and feel like I won't ever get it back.
For those who have been in this position, how did you do it? I don't know where to start because every time I deliberately exercise I injure myself.
