Hi all I (21F SW81kg/178lbs, CW65kgs/143lbs, 156cm/5ft1 GW: 59kgs/130lbs) have been consistently losing weight over the past 10 months. So far Ive lost 16kgs/35lbs and its been an amazing journey!
My starting budget was 1086cal calculated with lose it, it was successful although i was very hungry ALL the time. In the gym, i was only walking for 45mins. Once I started going to the gym 2x per week and adding in weights, i realised it wasn’t sustainable and I bumped it up to 1200cal. I continued to lose weight until September at a rate of 0.5kgs/1Lb consistently.
In September, I started adding an extra session in the gym. So 3x a week, 25min cardio, 30min weights. I was SO HUNGRY. I thought since I was going to the gym more I could eat more, so Ive been eating 1350cal since then, but Ive hit a plateau since 14Sept at 65kgs/143lbs. The scale will not budge! Should I just cut my losses and lose the gym sessions?
On a side note, I have been noticing more muscle definition, is it possible Im gaining muscle and still losing fat? Im pretty frustrated at the moment because this has been an almost 2 month long plateau. Id appreciate any advice!
