Hey, so I’ve just started consuming more potassium rich foods such as bananas and coconut water (I mainly consume these two). I heard that a high potassium diet & reduced salt/fat/oil intake can assist in losing weight.
My body is fairly lean muscle but my face is kinda chubby. I know you can’t spot reduce fat, you have to lose overall body fat.
But anyways, today I had 3 bananas and one cup of coconut water and ended up almost vomitting. I’m wondering whether to workout straight after I consume potassium rich foods to prevent the potential vomiting since your body burns the fuel. Also I’m a female so I’m not sure if there is a recommended amount of potassium intake (for a high potassium diet) as it may be different to that of males.
