I’m 5ft7 216lb 34F, I go to the gym 3-4 times a weeks and have been for the last 2 years. I don’t do much cardio other than around 10-15 mins sometimes after I finished lifting, usually on treadmill. I try and lift heavy and push myself. My calorie deficit is 1550. I’m trying to eat high protein.
I just can’t seem to even lose 7lb! This year I’ve stayed the same just fluctuating between the same 3-4lb up and down.
I weigh and track everything in the week. I do go out most weekends either for drinks or dinner.
Should I consider stopping the weights and just doing cardio for a while?
Should I just lift 2-3 days and do cardio the other 1-2 days?
Ideally I would like to get to 175lb. I know this is still ‘overweight’ but I think it’s a start.
Current measurements are bust 43, waist 33, hips 44. My waist is half my height but BMI 33.7 today. People are shocked when I tell them my weight as I carry it well.
What am I doing wrong.
After i went high protein (150g) and my cals were around 1300 in a week I ended up gaining a pound!
