Am I doing something wrong?

I've been trying to lose weight for awhile, and I've come down from 210 lbs to 190 lbs in about a month by using the 5:7 method of eating around 500 calories a day for 5 days a week and then around 1700 for the other 2 days. But over the past week or so, my weights stopped going down and have actually started to average at around 195 lbs. I use a mechanical scale that recently got wet and is starting to rust, but it still reads a 20-pound weight correctly. Is my scale broken, or have I physically just stopped losing weight?
