I've managed to gain two pounds this week. I was so annoyed and confounded, then I remembered the chicken tenders I had on Friday and the reckless abandon I ate cake and other such like on Saturday
This morning I stepped on the scale and saw I'm up two pounds, four pounds up in total but to my surprise, the tape measure shows my waist is down half an inch to 31". My jeans still fit comfortably.
The rollercoaster that is peri/menopause... I'm glad I've kept track with the scale and tape measure data, else I'd have been so demotivated
