For my current states. I am a 30 year old male who is 5’11”, and I weight around 255-260 lbs.
I gained most of my weight from a medicine helping me with an illness which basically shut down my metabolism.
I have never been someone who would go to the gym even when I wasn’t overweight.
I started at one of the Starting Strength gyms so I could have structure and support.
Here is the problem I can do all the exercises:
Bench press, OHP, and deadlift just fine.
I cannot squat full range of motion because it hurts my knees, and it is making me feel defeated. I have only done the program/class for two weeks and I want to quit just because of my squat issues.
I don’t know what to do because this has been something I dreamed about doing and now it seems like it is crashing in front of my eyes.
If anyone has any suggestions or tricks/tips I would love to hear them.
