feel like the margin for error is so small, it's depressing me

Never been one to get takeaways or cakes or sugary costa coffees or crisps or any of those other things that people struggle with cutting out their diets. I cook everything from scratch - mostly Mediterranean and Indian food - and walk everywhere cause I dont drive, do yoga several times a week etc. As you can imagine this worked amazingly for me, until I turned 30 and gained 10 kilos in a year. I thought okay, my body doesnt work as it used to, fine, and made sustainable positive changes to my diet and added in some cardio. (gym not really an option for me as im a full time stay at home mum with no family around to help and no excess money as we're saving for a house).

I've been steadily losing weight successfully with these changes week after week. However, last weekend I went to a party and had some beers and mini chocolates and a slice of pizza and seem to have gained back some of it. Didn't weigh myself on the Sunday, Monday Tuesday to avoid being disappointed by water weight from the salt and the alcohol then weighed myself on the wednesday and I gained almost half a kilo over the weekend. I feel so, so down about it because now I feel like I can't relax for even one day. I can't just go to a party and have a small amount of party food wirhout putting on weight.

Anyone been in this position and managed to shift their mindset?/feel better?
