Am I on the right Track?

27 Male 6 foot 1 (185cm)

300 pounds

Goal weight 225

Hi All I recently started watching what I eat and label reading, counting calories. I suspected roughly before I was consuming 3000 calories a day with sedentary to very minimal activity level

Now I consuming about 2000-2200 calories to the day

I like this diet , it works for me

I go on 5.5 km walk / jog (mostly walk tho)

And my Apple Watch says im at 650 active calories burn and I do this 3-4X a week

Is this sustainable? Or is it gonna be more difficult at some point to get to my target weight

Because I notice now since I been exercising for a month that I can sprint further and heart rate recover speed is faster now. But my heart rate while exercising is lower? So im unsure if my exercise is as effective considering im not higher up in target heart zone anymore unless I push myself harder which at that point im not speed walking anymore but jogging rather. (I feel pain in my top ankles when jogging for too long) so I really appreciate walking

I suspect my BMR is 2300 btw

Thank you everyone for your input I appreciate it
