30 Day Accountability Challenge - Day 24

Day 24!

I’m late late late, let’s talk goals!

Fruit or veg with every meal, one piece of cake a week: Nailed this today.

Be near goal weight maintenance (1831-2000 calories): Don’t got it.

Don’t spend $ outside of preset weekly budget: Missed this one today but in my defense, I knew I wanted to go to a bookstore & I know how much to budget for that trip. And I came in under my budget. I flipping love books.

Weigh in daily: Don't got it. 16/24 days. I am exploring what weight neutrality means to me.

I'm feeling a little lost here. Untraining my brain to rid myself of some really societally ingrained fatphobia is tough. Especially when it feels hard to agree with both sides sometimes. I need to be losing weight because I genuinely believe it's a healthier path forward for me, not because society or anyone else told me to stop being fat.

Lose 1-2% of body weight per month: I’ll check in on day 28.

Find a way to enjoy moving my body everyday: On it. 17/24 days.

Journal for two minutes every morning: Got it. 21/24 days.

Today's gratitude or laugh list: I’m grateful for the first friend I made when I moved to Colorado. Keep your ride or dies, folks. I laughed so much today. Good medicine.

Meditate (sensory grounding) for 5 minutes: Got it today.

Self-care activity for today: Nailed this today. Time with my best friend, a book store, book talk, coming home to my family of choice & my new kitty. Annnnnnd skin care.
