I've been in a calorie deficit for about 4 months and I've lost 22lbs (I know it might not seem like a lot, but it's a big deal for me ðŸ˜). During this time, I've mostly noticed changes in my body, so I assumed it was fat loss. However, I've started to realize that I may be losing some muscle because I haven't been hitting my protein goal. I'm wondering if it's okay to focus on losing weight first and then work on building muscle later?
Also, I've noticed that my weight seems low for my height, but my body fat percentage is still high. I'm concerned if being "underweight" is bad for me, considering I still have a lot of fat to lose.
