Within a few years I lost 200+lbs. I was, what everyone around me called, the "Keto Queen" and I was also a powerlifter. After a few surgeries, and autoimmune diseases flareups, and another surgery, I have gained a bit back.
I love my body, and I have loved it along the way, but my body does hurt. Going to the gym these days, even just walking on the treadmill, hurts for days after but I still push. Ankylosing Spondylitis and Psoriatic Arthritis are in a constant state of "flare up" right now, but I believe it has more to do with nutrition than movement.
I'm going to try yoga soon, but it's hard to get out of the mindset of wanting to lift heavy. My ADHD makes yoga a lil' rough. 😅
