Need assistance

I, (24M) since the first of this month have attempted to fix my life. I have quit vaping, quit weed and quit drinking alcohol. As of today I am officially 18 days clean with all three of those all quit via cold turkey.

One of my main goals is losing my weight. I currently weigh 323 (started the month at 320, went to 318 at one point) and I am 5’11. I need help with a consistent diet and workout plan because I have never learned how to count calories and stuff like that.

I am open to any methods, any diets and any workout/fasting you are willing to recommend regardless of intensity. I’m not one of those people that cares about WHAT I’m doing but I am more of someone who cares about a routine that I can follow over anything.

As for right now I am averaging 8,000+ steps a day for 5 days a week (when I work) and around 3,000 or less on days off. Im considering upgrading to at minimum 10,000 steps a day regardless if I work or not.
