How do keep your mind flexible enough about your calories?

I'm on a big calorie deficit, 1200 per day when my TDEE is ~2300 (I have my wedding in 6 weeks so its not for a long period of time)

In the last few weeks I started using the elliptical for at least an hour every day, sometimes more, 6 days a week. I've been losing weight kinda quickly lately and it motivates me to keep going as I am.

I have the same lunch every day (I don't have breakfast, intermittent fasting) of a big, filling salad with quinoa, chia seeds, cottage cheese on the side and lots of fresh veggies. I love my salad so much, keeps me so satisfied and nutritioned.

But now there are some occasions where I can't have my salad cause I'm not home and not with people who care much about diet or health, and I'm suppose to eat there my lunch. So its either them cooking some pasta or ordering takeout.

How do I not freak out or get weird about it? I can't just not go, it's my sister and nephew which both are my everything.

I am actually nervous before stuff like that, keeps my mind running and I overthink it like crazy, and I wish to have a healthier way of coping.

Any advice?
