Help! Stuck in Cycle of Fad Diets & Need to Sustainable Weight Loss Tips (34F, IT job, sedentary lifestyle)

Hi everyone,

I will be 34 in July, female, working in IT, no kids, no health conditions, no pcos (🤞🏼) and for the past few years, I've been stuck in a cycle of unhealthy eating habits that have led to weight gain. I tend to bounce between restrictive fasting periods and unhealthy binge eating, and it's definitely taken a toll on my health. Namely a diet there is a good chance I have been on it🥲

Height - 170cm (5’7”) current weight - 88Kg. (194 pounds) Used to be 78kg (171 pounds) in jan 2023 (and I used to feel that I was obese back then and would go on crazy diets to loose weight 🤦🏼‍♀️) a few years before that I was 64kgs (141 pounds, and my then boyfriend called me fat, and would nudge me to eat less and go to the gym. I think my unhealthy obsession with started then, and I see it now🙃)

Over the years I've tried joining gyms and getting into regular workouts, but my work requires frequent travel across different time zones, which makes it really challenging to maintain a consistent exercise routine. Sticking to a healthy diet is also a struggle, even though I primarily eat vegetarian with eggs.

Lately, I've been feeling so discouraged that even getting out for a walk seems overwhelming.

I'm reaching out to this community because I'm at a loss. I'd love to hear some advice on how to break this cycle of unhealthy eating and finally develop sustainable weight loss and fitness habits that fit into my busy lifestyle.

Are there any tips for maintaining a healthy diet while traveling for work? Perhaps there are some bodyweight exercise routines or apps that could be helpful for staying consistent with exercise on the go? Been very interested in 75hard, but I’m almost sure that I cannot consistently do it for more than 2 days🤦🏼‍♀️

Even sharing success stories of overcoming similar challenges would be a huge motivation booster!
