Struggling to lose weight as a woman

I've put on 30lbs in the last 9 months--all from emotional eating.

My body's new comfortable set point is 260 (before it was the 230s).

I track my periods and notice that I only really have about 2 'good' weeks out of the month--one where I lose weight (the week after my period) and the other where my appetite is normal (2 weeks after my period, but I don't lose anything). Otherwise, ovulation and the luteal phase make me feel absolutely insatiable, and cause me to retain water.

I'm on Metformin (to help with weight management) and a cocktail of psych meds (one that also includes a stimulant/appetite suppressant) and have noticed that their effectiveness goes way down during ovulation and the luteal phase as well.

My goal for now is consistency, but I'm struggling. I was doing great at the beginning of this month tracking calories and eating in a deficit. I lost 7lbs in a week. But now, it's all back. To cope with the utter frustration and disappointment, I've been overeating again.

It's such a vicious cycle that I go through every. single. month.

If anyone has any advice, I'd appreciate it.
