Hi!
So I’ve been walking 2.0 MPH on 2.0 incline for 3 out of the past 4 days. (Up from about 1-3 times a week.) One of my goals is daily being able to go the 30 minutes doctors always say is the minimum for daily exercise.
The thing is, after only 2 or 3 days in a row, I’m already exhausted and have noticeable discomfort in my legs.
How am I supposed to exercise 30+ minutes a day when less than half of that is like this?
My old self would’ve insulted myself until I finally berated myself onto a treadmill. This time around, I’m trying to learn how to not be my own worst enemy.
How am I supposed to build up daily exercise when I’m achey and tired, and when muscles are supposed to have time to repair those micro tears? I’m trying to figure out how to do this sustainably, not do stuff like developing shin splints for the umpteenth time.
Thank you for your advice.
