How to snack in moderation

So I moved to a location 2 years ago where its really hard to get my favorite snacks, which has been super helpful I thought I kicked my snacking habit. Well the other week I was buying groceries from an online store front and I saw that they have snacks I havent had access to in years. I bulk bought so many chips, candies, and cookies. Once I start eating them I can’t stop! im still tracking them, but I feel like I’ve completely derailed my weight loss this week. Part of me feels like I need to eat all of the snacks ASAP to get them out of the house, but in reality it would be nice if I could just have some self control. Are any of you able to do this? what helps?
