Hi I'm a 25F, 5'6", 82 kg/181 lbs who's been overweight for her whole life, who's starting their weight loss journey. I signed up for a gym and got a personal trainer (PT) because I really want to be healthy + my family's medical history is pretty bad (trying to prevent any of this from happening). As I'm writing this, I just finished my first gym session (it was a PUSH session lmao) and I'm knackered af, felt the world spinning after my first session with my PT but I honestly enjoyed it even though I couldn't finish all the sets.
But for those who already lost weight/past the initial stage, is it really this hard? I'm still motivated to go to the gym but idk how I'll keep this up if it always feels like this (tired, out of breath, cant finish sets). Do you have any tips on improving endurance/stamina? Should I start walking everyday to improve myself? I seriously have 0 gym knowledge and I might be rushing my way through this rn. Seriously need some motivation and tips (gym tips, diet, etc.)
PS. I love my trainer, he's very supportive and understanding. Hopefully I get be better under their guidance <3
