New diet fail because of underlying issue (hard topic)

Hello, I’m male 22 300lbs. The last couple years I’ve been dealing with anxiety and depression, the anxiety has been around my heart so had lots of testing and ok despite so many symptoms.

I read so much online it felt endless, then YouTube videos. Saturated fat is fine for heart, then it’s not then sugar is ok then it’s not. Carbs are evil all of a sudden my brain couldn’t take it. Something snapped. Since I had days at a time without eating then having really fatty sugary foods then that on repeat endlessly which makes no sense because I care about my heart health. Is my brain punishing me?

I lost weight in this time period (around 40lbs) and asssume I’ll lose more like this which makes me think I’m then I’ll be an ok weight but the food I’m eating are making me feel ill when I think about what I’ve eaten the sugar, the fat and what not I feel ill.

I spoke to a friend about it he laughed a bit saying it’s a girl disorder but I don’t even know what I have or why to do next? I’d appreciate some support this has been hard to write
