If you've lost over 80lbs, how did you get over the fact you might not look "better" at the end of it?
I (27F 5ft 4 238lbs) thankfully hold my weight well in the sense people always think I am lighter than I am, but, I know I need to lose weight.
The issue is I've never been able to get over the fact I have stretchmarks all over my boobs, stomach, thighs, and that I'll probably end up looking worse not better if I do lose the weight.
I never was the "pretty" girl, I was always somewhat curvy- but more like 10-15lbs (or less) over weight not 100... I've always had big boobs (E Cups) but now they have stretchmarks near my arms and they definitely aren't holding a nice shape.
I hate to sound vain but I want to be considered hot, just once, and it physically pains me it probably wont be possible without surgery.
So, if you have lost the weight do you actually feel better about yourself? How do you accept that you may look worse (loose skin, stretchmarks, sagging), not better?
