I feel like I am doing all the right things and I am still struggling with weightloss/fat loss. Particularly visceral fat. Diagnosed with PCOS. I feel like I’m at my wits end.

Hello! I was diagnosed with PCOS a year ago and am struggling with weightloss. I have slender limbs that contain virtually no fat (legs are relatively muscular) but I hold a lot of fat in my stomach (visceral primarily). I look like I am about 4 months pregnant at all times. I will list my stats / macros / habits / supplements / medication etc below. Any insight / help is greatly appreciated!!

Age - 30F, Weight - 155 pounds (Down from 165 a year ago though I have also gained muscle), Height - 5’6

Daily Intake Calories - 1300-1500, Protein 80-100 grams, Carbs 60-90 grams, Fat 30-60 grams, Sugar - under 20 grams

I don’t consume any alcohol, refined sugar (once a month maybe if that), and the only processed/packaged foods I eat are protein bars (quest). The only beverages I consume are water and green tea in the morning. I consume about 60 ounces of water daily.

Activity I do strength training twice a week, cardio twice a week and ensure I hit 10K steps a day. I also hike/bike in the summer, curl in the winter and do the odd yoga or pilates class each month.

Medication/Supplements Spironolactone (PCOS) Clonidine (nightmares) Strattera (ADHD)

Greens powder in am Magnesium Glycinate at night Berberine on occasion if I have a slice of cake on my birthday or a cookie or anything with refined sugars

Negative habits I vape (nicotine - step down from cigarettes working towards quitting). Poor sleep quality - 4.5-6 hrs a night. Average around 5 hrs struggle to sleep long periods usually wake up every couple of hours. I don’t nap.

While I have lost some weight over the past year, I’m definitely worried about the visceral fat and how I am not loosing it. My limbs keep getting slimmer. My doc has tested me for hypothyroidism and says it is negative and all my other blood work looks normal. PCOS was diagnosed due to fatigue, infrequent period, and sudden increase of facial hair/ hair loss, though the hair on my heads been growing back since starting spironolactone. Naturopath did a food sensitivity test and told me to cut out gluten which I did and it didn’t make any changes.

Any help/ insight is welcome. I feel like I’m at my wits end.
