Finally lost weight

I have been sitting around nearly 170 (F 5'6) for the past couple years and it has been really hard to get the scale to budge since I am on medication and hormonal bc.

My new year's resolution was to go to the gym more but I was too embarrassed to go work out during the beginning of the month when it would be packed. I went for the first time Thursday and before my workout I decided to weigh myself, 159!

I know it doesn't seem like a lot but I really did not expect it. I thought I was crazy feeling my pants be looser on me lol. I have tried and failed a couple times, I've only ever been able to lose 3lbs. All I've been doing is walking a lot and noncommittally eating lower cal foods/smaller meals.

I feel so inspired and excited to see my fat loss and muscle growth :D I've been doing rowing, elliptical to cool down, and I'm planning to start weight training when I gain some strength/confidence.
