I want to lose weight because I want to be healthier.
I always go really well for a month or two. Regularly meeting step goals, going to the gym a few times a week, eating well 80% of the time. I aim for daily calories of 500 under TDEE like everywhere recommends. I start to lose some weight, gain some momentum, and then I sabotage. Every. Single. Time.
I'm sick of starting again the next week. Sick of paying money for online programs or meal programs or things that just never seem to stick. I want to do better. I need to do better. But for whatever reason I just can't.
For those of you who have been here, how did you get over the hump? How did you fully embrace the 'lifestyle change' and actually improve your health and weight?
