Weight loss increased after upping calories?

5'9, 23, M, Been on a weight loss journey since around May. Was pushing 99kg when I started and around 77kg at the start of November. Really happy with my progress so far. It was quite a large deficit of around 1000 kcal/day.

I started high intensity weight training in June, still maintaining my deficit and 180g protein per day. I started to not feel as hungry as what I used to and adapted to my deficit. After my summer holidays, I ate and enjoyed them and just remained active. Didn't gain any weight which was nice. Since then, I've upped my calories by 300 to remain in a deficit just a smaller one and it has been way better for me. Although I knew that would slow my weight loss down significantly, I was happy with this change as I am closing in on the goal weight of 70kg to hopefully lose the remaining fluffy fat on my abdomen.

I'm a bit confused though, as since doing this my weight loss has sped up significantly? For context:

4th November: 77.10kg

6th November: 76.20kg

After this I thought there is no way that is fat loss, maybe water weight or something like that has dropped. Especially since that would only allow time for a 1400 kcal deficit between the 2 days overall.

I wouldn't normally weigh too frequently, maybe once or twice a week but after that I have a little more recently.

But since weighing today, I clocked in at 75.20kg. What's going on? I have become extremely proficent at tracking calories, I weigh everything consistently and make sure I am eating the exact amount and have done throughout the process, so I'm certain there is no way I'm eating less than 1800 kcal/day.

Any explanations?

Thanks :)
