Hi everyone!
So, I've (20F, Hungarian) been introduced to the world of dieting and weight loss pretty early, at the ripe age of 11 (I'm 20 now) as I was an obese kid and it was impacting my health. So nothing of this is all that new to me.
During my high school years I worked out a ridiculous amount, consistently and admittedly it was not maintainable and clashed with my schedule a lot.
But now, I've started college, in the Netherlands and have way less time to work out, due to having to commute quite a lot. So, for two and a half months even though I have tried my best to keep up, I kept finding myself skipping it due to the time being too late in the evening, or being nauseous after the car ride home. And the weight started creeping back on, 3-5kgs as of now. I am not really overweight yet, but definitely getting close.
Two weeks ago I decided to get back on track and start working out again even if I have to do it at night because I didn't like the weight gain and feeling weak. So I started exercising consistently again, though not as intensely as I did before. Now I did not expect two weeks of working out to change the world, but I would have expected the weight gain to stop at least? But now two weeks into it my weight jumped up about 1kg overnight and it's not going away?
Is this common? Is it normal? Should I worry?
