I'm losing faith in me being able to actually lose weight.

So some background I'm M22 6"6 and 430lbs

Yes I've known about my weight issues since I was in highschool and thought it'd just work itself out, fast forward 3 years and 100lb+ weight gain. I started a slightly physical job (8-13k steps a day and consistently lifting 20-40lb boxes) and thought it'd finally be the time for me to lose weight.

But after 3 months at the job I haven't lost anything. I'm not eating a lot everyday (usually only eat twice a day and can't be over 2000cal),I'm drinking a bunch of water, and avoiding junk food. But nothing has been happening. Nothing is working and at this point I don't think anything will.

What am I doing wrong? I thought moving more vs being sedentary would work but it hasn't, thought eating less would help but it hasn't,I can't think of anything else to do at this point.
