So, I feel like I have a ton of knowledge on healthy foods, habits and workouts etc. But i feel completely overwhelmed on where to start?
A bit of context, last year I lost both my grandparents within a few days of each other, my dog and went through a breakup all within about a 6 month span. Emotionally, I was a wreck. I’ve been going to therapy which has helped tremendously but I went through phases of not being able to eat anything to wanting to eat everything. And over the last year, I’ve found myself eating to comfort myself. Obviously this has lead to weight gain. I do not feel comfortable in my body and none of my clothes fit me the way they used to. This is a huge hit to my self-confidence as well as I’ve gotten stretch marks now which I think I can learn to accept and live with if I’m taking an active approach to my health. I’m not interested in losing a specific amount of pounds, I am mostly focused on feeling healthy, strong and comfortable in my body again.
I guess my question for those in this group is where/how did you start? Was it with tracking food? Steps? Sleep? I feel like I‘m lost with where to begin.
