What have I missed that means I’m not losing weight?

I am a 26yo old woman who has been trying to lose weight for about a year with little results and I don’t know if there’s something obvious I’m missing. Last year I was as having some personal and health issues which made me gain 20kg in about 6 months but I want to lose it. I’m currently 109kg and 5’5’. Some context about me and my health: * I have ADHD, PMDD, endometriosis and C-PTSD * My bloods and hormones are all normal - I’ve been checked for thyroid, PCOS, hashimoto’s, diabetes/pre diabetes and insulin resistance. My progesterone and oestrogen are also normal * I have hereditary high blood pressure - I’ve had a heart scan, MRI and 24hr urine sample but there was nothing wrong * I’m currently on Metformin 2000mg to try and lose weight and 12mg Candesartan/10mg Amlodipine for my BP, which just takes it just into the normal range but it’s still elevated * I’m also taking magnesium glycinate, B6, zinc, vitamin D and folate

I’ve lost 6kg in the last 10 months, in bursts of about 2kg then a stall for 2-3 weeks. There doesn’t seem to be a common theme either but I have tried: * Pilates * HIIT/body weight * Strength training * Walking - however I have lower back issues so that’s very difficult * Exercise bike for 30 mins 3-4x a week

At the moment, I’ve landed on strength training 2x a week and an exercise bike for 30 mins 2x a week, as we have this equipment in our flat (I have anxiety so don’t like the gym). It’s good for helping me to keep moving but I’m not losing any weight or any further measurements.

When it comes to eating, I average out about 1800 calories a day. My TDEE to maintain is about 2400. I absolutely am trying to cut back on sugar because that doesn’t hurt but ultimately my blood glucose isn’t high. For example, on an average day, I’ll have a glass of orange or apple juice with breakfast or lunch and then maybe a small packet of sweets e.g. Skittles during the day, and a Snickers after dinner. I’ve suffered with binging and purging in the past, and just generally being stressed, so my partner thinks I’ve messed with my metabolism and I actually need to eat more (around 2200) to level myself out again. This is obviously very scary for someone who has worried about their weight as much as I have but I’m willing to try. I’ve also tried intermittent fasting and cycle fasting, depending on where I’m at in my cycle. I also don’t drink often, a few drinks when I’m out (which is about every 3-4 months) and I don’t smoke/vape.

One key thing about me that cannot change, is what I eat. To help alleviate my PMDD, I cycle sync my meals, these means eating to support my cycle so certain meat, veg and fish at certain times so the vitamins and nutrients support my cycle.

Anyone who knows PMDD/ADHD/endo also knows the volatile nature of it so I need tips/guidance that isn’t going to be workout 6x a week because my depression and the endo flare ups can’t sustain that. I don’t know if I’m just an overly stressed/anxious person and that’s what is carrying over into the rest and body is too stressed to lose weight. Any help would be very, very appreciated!
