What is your guys opinion on refeeds? Specifically for individuals who are already lean (~10-12%bf) I am thinking of incorporating them every 10 days from now on. Psychologically we all know that they help mentally and reinforce the adherence for most people, but also physically as recent researches show that doing a consecutive days refeed (2-3+ days) seem to upregulate to a degree some fat burning hormones (such as leptin and t3), besides that with your body being in a maintenance or slight surplus, the carbs seem to fill up glycogen storage and make you look fuller as well as improving performance for the next couple days. For a full refeed you would need at least 10g/kg of bw so if you’re 80 kg (178 pounds) you would need 800g of carbs to which you can split them at 400s for two days. Let me know your thoughts
