In the last 18 months have lost 220 pounds (see proof here:Weight loss journey 450 down to 250 https://imgur.com/gallery/nZZOO) I work out 5 days a week between 1 to 2 hours each day. 3 days focusing on cardio (eliptical) and 2 days on strength training (I use every machine in my gym for 2 or 3 sets of 5 or 10 of the most weight I can handle) the issue I have is I now weigh 230. I have a lot of flabby skin but I don't know if there is still fat that needs to be lost before considering skin removal. The reason I ask is that in USA you need a preauthorization to even see a plastic surgeon if you want to get skin removal. My primary doctor says I need to wait a bit longer before considering that when I am at a weight I am happy with it. This is the smallest I have ever been in my life. I can run, I can do things I have never done before, I can wear a large. So I feel like my weight is good, but I am still technically losing... I am just not sure if I should do something different or if I should do as my doctor suggests and wait a year or two until I completely stop losing. What are your guy's opinions? Should I even remove the loose skin? Will it be in one area or will it be able to take from my whole body? If this is the wrong subreddit to post on let me know as well.
