Tips for managing what you eat when working in food service?

I have a catering job at a university campus, which means that among the food I have access to from leftover buffets and continentals, I also get food from the school cafeteria which is an all-you-can-eat buffet. This means that I am surrounded by food all day long.

Most of what I go to is sugary, buttery, greasy foods like pastries, garlic bread, french fries, and pizza, these are the foods that I always cave to and gorge myself on. Now, there are plenty of healthier, low calorie options for me to stick with, but at the end of a hectic day full of running around nonstop, it's really hard to resist the dopamine rush that I get from stuffing a bunch of cookies in my mouth.

Does anyone who works in food service have advice on how to manage your food intake while at work? My biggest problems are both how much food I wind up eating and also the quality of food (picking the least healthy options pretty much every single day)
