Dieting after telogen effluvium

I lost 45 lbs in a span of 4 months in an unhealthy way.. In early March of this year I went keto and also basically starved myself (ate less than 1200 cals a day for months). Well in the summer my hair started falling out in clumps, went to the derm and was told I have telogen effluvium. Now the shedding of my hair has slowed down a ton (not completely back to normal but not as extreme) and I have tons of regrowth and want to start dieting again.. but in a safe way bc I’m so scared of retriggering the TE… when my hair started falling out I immediately switched my diet and started slowly increasing my cals to get into maintenance mode. I now eat around 2200 cals a day and haven’t gained back any weight. I was thinking of cutting back to maybe around 1800 cals a day (400 cal deficit) and doing a zig zag schedule along with it.. like one day I eat maintenance, one day a deficit, etc (basically whatever amount of cals but for the overall week I’d be in a deficit overall). I basically just wanna know if anyone has experience with zig zag dieting or dieting after telogen effluvium and if they avoided restarting their TE… so scared but I still have quite a bit of weight I want to lose..
