I usually weigh myself once a week every Sat mornings under the same conditions, but sometimes I will weigh myself Weds and be amazed with the amount lost... and then find that I will have lost no more weight by Sat (or shock horror gain 0.5lbs).
Same thing has happened today - weighed myself last Sat and then weighed myself on Weds morning and I have lost 3lbs in 3/4 days (same conditions as I would weigh myself on Sat). I pretty much know already that I will weigh myself on Sat and will be the same weight.
The only thing that is differences are that:
- Sat evening is usually my managed cheat meal (i.e. I am surprised that it is not the opposite and I have minimum weight loss by mid-week due to extra carbs, etc. and lose it by the end of the week)
- Fridays are usually my rest days if that has an impact, but diet is the same?
I know it is a silly thing to focus on as long as I am going in the right direction, which is why I normally weigh myself once a week.... but wondered if this happens with anyone else?
It just feels weird that I seem to lose most of my weekly weight loss in first 3/4 days and nothing in the remainder.
