NSV: Tailoring clothes.

So, scales-wise weight loss has been slower, but still going steady since I built in my exercise routine. Keeping the kitchen locked up like I am a literal mogwai that'll lose control and turn into a terror is.... helpful. Embarrassing, but helpful. And I know, of all people, as a goddamn advocate for neurodiversity, I should be less harsh on myself over having dissociative episodes, but dissociating and binge eating is hard to accept.

Anyway, I have been dropping dress sizes way less consistently than weight. Could be 1kg down and still fit same trousers, then stay the same weight next week and suddenly they don't fit me. I know fat loss, muscle gain, water loss and water gain are making this extra confusing, and I got a few items in the next sizes down in case I needed emergency clothes to go and buy new clothes in.

Well, it happened. Woke up one day and over half my trousers and shorts just slip down. My clothes that still sorta with a belt fit were in the wash. So I felt real smart for getting the smaller size. Go to put on some shorts. They slip off.

I like those shorts too, hadn't worn them yet, obvs. So I pulled in and stitched the waist line so I can wear them. And I've had to tailor or add a belt to most of my "new size" items just so I can at least get a few weeks wear out of them.
