BACK AT IT (ahahahaha...help )

Raise your hand if you lost the weight you wanted to, relaxed, and now it's many months later and you need to start all over again! .....Just me....?

I've made a few small attempts since, but wasn't really in the mindset - the motivation was missing for me each time. Last year I was attending a wedding and gave myself 10 months to lose 3 stone (42lbs/19kg). I managed it! WITH 3 DAYS TO SPARE!! Woo! :D

However, in the wedding photos I looked different to how I expected. I dealt with this by eating literally my nieces weight in pizza and burgers for the last 8 months. Told myself I was fiiiine and I'd rather eat whatever I want anyway.

Then I started to get chest pain and breathing difficulty when I laid down to sleep. Uh oh - that's new. Several doctors appointments and I get "we can't find anything, have you thought about losing weight?"

Oof.

So here I am! I'm roughly 2 weeks in (I didn't mark my "start" date because I wasn't sure I'd stick to it) but this time I'm doing it differently. I've reloaded MFP (yay) and started exercising. I take short walks around my office building on my lunch (only about 15-20 minutes) and I'm doing 5-10 minutes workouts with weights in the morning.

If the mood strikes, I'm also trying to play beat sabre - but I'm not sure how effective this will be.

I'm hoping that the combination of diet and exercise will make me feel better in general. I'm starting at 12st 9lbs and my goal is just below 10st somewhere (according to the mighty NHS) .

Does anyone have any tips on sticking with it and then actually maintaining at the end?
