how to stay motivated.

Hi guys, I need some hints and tips on how to stay motivated. I've been trying to stay within 1500 calories a day but I love food way too much. I need advice on what I can eat that's low in calories.
I've been trying to stick to my diet since the beginning of the year but I am really struggling. I keep giving in to my cravings and continue to gain weight. It is starting to really affect me. I know I need to change but I can't seem to stick to my diet. I need advice about how to stay motivated and stay positive.
