Anyone here with reduced mobility? Exercise used to be my driver for keeping weight off cos I’ve always struggled with food but now I struggle with both.

I had a cycling accident 6 years ago, and in the aftermath of that gained probably 40lbs(probably more). I loved running and walking, dancing, everything really, but now I have significant injuries to both my feet, and even just climbing the stairs at a football match has had me in pain for over two weeks.

Anyway, I’ve realised that the amount of activity I used to do before I got injured kept my weight at bay but obviously now I don’t do much of anything.

I was never diagnosed or anything but looking back I think had some kind of ED when I was a child (some OCD type traits and basically refused anything solid or anything of taste) and I think my trouble now is everything tastes fucking amazing, so portion control is my main issue. I’m also 4ft11 so my portions should be a fraction of what my 6ft fiancé eats but I feel perpetually hungry and only feel full 2 hours too late.

Anyway, not sure what my question is but I’m just seeing how people navigate this when it’s eat less move more, when you can’t move much.

I know weight loss happens in the kitchen, it’s just I’m used to using exercise.

What would you suggest for a very petite (height wise obviously) person to start? I was using IF during the pandemic and lost about 10lb so I guess I could try that again, I dunno I think I’m just lost.
