I have a event in a few months. I need to lose weight. Help.

I'm not sure how to start this.
So i want to weight. My goal is a big amount. Total weight i want to lose over time is at least 100 pounds.

I have a check up in April mid to end of month.

I have a graduation for a relative in May.

I'm not sure how to do this. I've done diet stuff before in the past. A bunch of stuff. Sometimes I'd manage to lose. But it always felt so hard. Some doctor of some kind or nutritionist gave me this terrible bland diet. That one was the worst. Nutrisystem. Herbal life. I even did fasting for 30 days. Which i did lose with the last two. I don't. Remember with the first two. Which were not good But at the time i did them was years ago.

Right now i started drinking some coffee and it gave me some kind of boost because now i feel like I'm eating normal amounts of stuff like dessert. Instead of feeling like i needed to eat half a pie every night. Which i didn't do but it was so hard not to.

So far I've lost about 5 pounds. I think because now I'm not eating a bunch of sweets and pastries and stuff at night especially, but also not snacking all day between meals either.

Sometimes i will have soda, but not often i think it's at most like every other week and it's coke zero. Since my sugar was a bit high, like pre diabetics zone. But I'm sure now that I'm not having huge amounts of sweets every night it will be much lower. There's even been times where i didn't even have a dessert that night. Which feels nice. It's like my brain and appetite are finally at a normal amount. And i don't have to eat huge amounts of food to feel satisfied. There were many times where i felt full, but not satisfied.

I've been overweight my whole life. And now in my adult life I'm past overweight.

But i need a plan for the next couple months on how to lose weight and be consistent but i don't know how to do that . I hope this post is okay.

Could i get some advice?

Edit my stats height 5'3 if I'm barefoot. I'm currently well last time i weighed my self. Earlier this week i was 266.1 . I'm not sure what other stats to add. Let me know if i need to add anything else.
