I’m 21(f) and I’ve always been more curvy, never obese but always on the heavier side of my ideal BMI. But now I am very much over weight or maybe obese. Let me tell a bit of a back story. When I was about 17 I ended up underweight and lost a lot of weight fast as I was very unwell when it came to food. I went from 11st to 7st from the January to the April, obviously this ruined my metabolism and when I started getting better I gained weight like crazy, my heaviest weight being 15st2, and the stretch marks on my stomach are like nothing I’ve ever seen they just don’t stop, they take up my whole abdomen and are on my hips and under warms and I’ve even lost weight and inches too and they just do not stop. Im now down to 14st. I’ve been told I have PCOS which I’m unsure of as the only thing I have is weight gain and also thinning hair,,and I also got tested for cushings but nothing ever came of it. I struggle so bad to lose weight, I walk anywhere from 5k to 10k steps daily , I went to the gym for a year and saw zero changes and I’m in a calorie deficit but because of my metabolism being so slow even a deficit will be a surplus if that makes sense. I’d love and greatly appreciate any advice on how I can boost my metabolism and fade or stop the stretch marks they literally ruin my confidence, I’ve tried creams and of course loosing weight they faded slightly but the more weight I lose the more come up and the ones already there keep growing. It’s making me so miserable. I’d be eternally grateful for any advice.
