So lately I've been wondering if all those tips and tricks about how to boost your metabolism are actually working. Besides going to the gym or drinking more water I've seen plenty of methods that promise to make our organism burn calories faster but I cannot be sure if they are legit or just because the standard calorie deficit + exercise does all the work. The best example that comes to my mind is that if you are in a long term deficit and go wild for a little bit (I mean increase your intake for 1000 or something) "wakes up" your body and make you burn even more. Have you guys ever try this? Do you think is worth trying or is just a marketing trick?
