Hi, I've recently gone up in weight and my body fat have risen. I'm not overweight yet, but I'd like to do something before I reach that point.
I have throughout my entire life been relatively thin, and on the brink of being underweight.
3 years ago I weighted about 50-55kg, and I was about 170cm tall.
My weight is now about 70kg and I'm about 172cm tall.
I haven't changed my eating patterns, but I have throughout my entire life eaten candy and snacks a bit too often.
I believe that the reason behind my weight gain recently is that I've gotten an office job.
When I went to school I way more movement every day than what I do now.
I walked to and from the school, and I ran around in recess.
My day now consists of; walking from my house to my car (10m), driving to my job, walking from my car to the elevator (50m), and walking from the elevator to my desk (5m).
I get around 3000 steps in every day, which mostly comes from me going to and from the sink at job to fetch water.
So I know my motion has decreased immensly, and I assume that's one of the reasons behind my weight gain.
But as I mentioned I would like to do something about this.
So which exercises are great for weightloss, and body fatloss?
I would prefer exercises at home, without any equipment as I can't really afford any equipment or gym membership at the moment, nor would I like to go to a gym before I'm at a better "level".
I'm fully aware that weightloss often have to be done by decreasing what I eat, but I don't really eat that much. I eat less than a "normal" portion, and I fear that if I reduced the amount of food I eat that I would move towards being underweight again.
I have several food related issued, based on me eating to little, so my weight problem is (I would assume) mostly because of my little to no movement throughout the day.
I can work on reducing the amount of snacks I eat though, and that I have already started doing.
I'm completely new to all of this stuff, and I haven ever worked out before.
Thanks.
