Lost my first stone! (14 pounds)

Title says it all! Just wanted to share really!

I’ve lost it in just under a month so I appreciate that a proportion of it is water weight and I imagine it will slow down a bit now (in fact it has already) but I’ve been counting my calories religiously on the lose it app and doing couch to 5k 3 times a week. I’m determined to stick to this new healthy lifestyle.

I’ve had blips like most people (cut to me scoffing ice cream last night like a mad woman) but on the whole, I’ve tracked everything and eaten far more mindfully. I don’t get puffed running up the stairs anymore, I can run around more with my kids.

My clothes fit better already, I managed to get into my new running leggings yesterday that didn’t fit when I started!

I’ve got a way to go before I hit goal (another 30kg) but I feel like I’ve finally cracked the secret to it all and I couldn’t be more grateful to everyone on this sub for sharing their stories and advice while I lurked in the background, you have been a massive support without even realising!
