My LoseIt! app recommended 1023 cal per day. I’m 35F, 5’0, 140lb, sedentary. My ultimate goal is 130ish, but maybe lower depending on how I feel then. I know that’s still technically overweight, but I previously felt really good at that weight.
I’ve lost 40lbs at 1200 cal from Jan to Sept, then had a LONG plateau (close to 8 weeks). I recently switched to LoseIt from MFP and lost 4lbs throughout November. That feels good! And shows that maybe I need less than 1200cal...
Except I know that’s not recommended and I’m HUNGRY usually. I either go to bed hungry or I’m hungry in the morning. The only way I consistently meet that calorie goal is by skipping one meal and I don’t really like to do that because I prefer to space eating throughout the day so I’m not hangry.
Help! What’s the answer here? I want to do this healthy and safely. I’ve been an on-again off-again calorie counter for 10+ years and have generally done well with it. My weight gain came from babies and now I’m done with reproducing, so I really want to keep my weight stable long-term once I get to my goal.
