I have the strong rule to always log my calories, no matter how much or what I eat. I've gotten quite good at it so I know that my logging is accurate.
Now, often logging before I eat the food gives me control to decide what and how much I actually want to eat.
But in cases of those wide eyed crazes where you just dive off deep edge, logging helps me know the facts.
I get it- when you're binging its hard to take the emotion out, and rationally input calories, but you should absolutely power through, take the emotions out and coldly log it.
Because, usually, next morning after a bad day of eating, the scale is way up from the previous day. But having logged, facts help me realize that there is no way physically to have gained 2-4 pounds from one day / meal of eating. Math doesn't add up!
Also, if for a few days the weight isnt going down, despite being in the deficit , I can stay calm- and just wait for the whoosh to come.
Logging equals data, data equals power. Don't take away your biggest superpower!
