I 23f am about 360 lbs. i was about 250 at the end of HS but then the college 15 (more like 40) hit and then bit by bit my depression spiraled until it exploded when i was living in a bad roommate environment and discovered doordash. I gained like 50+ after that and probably added a bit more once the pandemic hit. I was in a happier setting but my bad food habits remained. Motivation to cook or not be sedintary was null and even more so with my excuse of the pandamic. I just started trying to be better the previous summer and tried keto. It was okay but i still struggled and craved things. I fell off that wagon after 4(?) months with no results. Then i quit soda and actually succeeded in that. It will be two years in january. I noticed my hunger has decreased but no results. I joined noom and was good for a couple of months but i lost interest/stress won out. i joined a gym for a few weeks but my social anxiety sky rocketed and i had a break down during a introduction class and couldnt show my face again. I was too anxious and embarassed.
I guess i am posting to one get this off my chest (my failures) and 2) ask for advice of how to eat better and how to start weight training at home as a start. I do recognize that my lack of excercise is the key of not making progress. I am also diagnoised prediabetic and want to work on reversing that. Does anyone have any recipes, workout schedules, and etc that could help me? I just want to get to a healthier weight like 200-225 then go from there.
TL;DR: the last 2-5 years kicked my ass and i gained 100+ lbs and been diagnosed for prediabetics and need help whether via recipes, weight training regime (beginner), and etc. i just want to get a healthier weight(goal rn: 200lbs) than 360 lbs.
