How on Earth do you all keep it up? Day 1 again

At this point I am pretty well across CICO, but have cycled in and out several times. Every time I’ll gain 15-20kg then lose it then gain it again. That may not seem a lot to some of you, but for me as a sedentary short female it is a lot. Last time I lost weight it was with (prescribed) Vyvanse. Obviously not a sustainable way to lose weight as it made me feel sick to eat anything at all some days. It did help with cutting down food though.

I can’t exercise heaps due to limited mobility, but in any case I know that exercise isn’t as helpful as diet.

How do people stay “naturally” thin? If calories were no object I could easily scoff down a couple of double whoppers, a tub of ice cream and a milkshake or three.

I guess there is no real way to “rewire” yourself except stop eating so many carbs and get in more fruit and veg. If I’ve learnt anything on this journey it’s that. Earlier used to eat heaps of unhealthy high-cal foods. Fruit and veg (and protein provided it is healthy) make me feel fuller and I intend to stop relying so much on carbs. Oh, and meal prep has been helping so far, thank heavens.
