I have been trying to reduce processed carbs. I refuse to “diet” anymore. I have been choosing to eat very limited processed carbs, maybe on the weekends only. I quit eating “fat free or low fat” dressings, and creamer. So for example for breakfast instead of bagel or toast I eat lean ham, about 1/2 cheese and fruit. Sometimes hard boiled egg. But I do love fruit, especially now, peaches, melons, strawberries, cherries, etc. I usually have fruit with breakfast and after lunch and for dessert. If i get hungry in between I eat blue diamond almonds or some cashews. Afternoon used to be cookies or chips, I cut those out, I cut out ice cream at night etc. so far I have lost about 10 lbs in the last 6 weeks. I know its not keto or low carb since I eat fruit. I just wonder if i can continue to lose eating this way or if i will have to cut way back on the fruit. I am walking 30 minutes every morning. I need to lose 100 lbs! Thoughts?
