To meal prep or not to meal prep?

I am really bad about logging food and oftentimes struggle with knowing correct calories in my food items. Because of this, I have been considering meal prepping as I would better know the calories and would be able to log with ease. I am also completely comfortable with eating repetitive meals. Any affordable suggestions for meal prepping? I am a bit overwhelmed with all of the meal plans available online and just want something healthy and affordable.
