I'm looking to make changes to my diet & eating habits for my weight-loss journey. Unfortunately, the recipes I find most appealing are slightly outside of my skillset / availability / affordability to cook regularly without easy access to a car (I don't drive).
I'm in a rut & honestly just need to get used to planning & cooking meals again. I would also like to work on eating more vegetarian / vegan, but I always struggle to find vegetarian / vegan recipes that I find appealing & are under an hour to prep & cook.
I've been looking more into pre-packaged options like RiceARoni, StoveTop, noodle packs). I haven't been able to commit since I've previously been judged like I'm cheating / not actually being healthy at all and no wonder you aren't losing weight.
How much should I worry about incorporating RiceARoni / StopeTop / Fried Rices in my diet? I've prepared the majority of these items vegetarian since I love me some RiceARoni & simple veggies, but does that offset the unhealthy preservatives from these quick-fix meals to make it beneficial towards my weightloss goals?
If it's helpful in providing guidance, I have a tendency to skip eating that day or get takeout before I'll prepare a "from-scratch" meal. How do I get away from feeling ashamed about using RiceARoni & what not?
